My zanussi fridge freezer(model ZX99/5W) has a problem. The fridge have stopped working but the freezer is OK. It is only 3.5 years ancient. I have be quoted by the service company that a call out duty is lb42.30. Has anyone had a similar problem and can it be fixed? Or should i buy a untried one. Seems like the heat control is not working. Any counsel. Many thanks!

Sounds like the thermostat have gone in the fridge.....most citizens will charge a call out is the fridge underneath guarantee.....Phone them back and ask how much it would be to fit a thermostat.......it will be cheaper than getting a untried one.....if that is what is wrong near it.....
