Yellow Deer Flies Control? We live in the SE and have a problem beside those yellow...
We live in the SE and have a problem beside those yellow deer flies. They are prolific this year and a real bind. Anyone know how to control them around the house and/or our persons? Thanks for your help. :o)

Ace Hardware handles this stuff... For yellow flies though they are attracted to black instead of washed out like whiteflies are.. what we do all over Florida is simply travel to a toy store and buy a couple of cheap beach balls...blow them up and hang up from a string off of a pole or tree and spray paint them gloss black near the cheap 1.00 aerosol paint..let it dry them spray this product all over the bubble hanging whereever your problem is..it stays tack y through sun and rain..the sickly flies attract to the black ball and land on it, later they are stuck..there is not a chemical known to return with rid of the yellow flies, nor is this a total cure, but is a preventitive..It works well..I enjoy them stuck all over my ..uhh ..errr balls sagging up.
Get a pet bird.
Birds eat flies.
