Wouldn't it be smarter if the handles be at the ends so you could carry it easier?
Answers: you are supposed to flip your mattress every so ofthen to prevent too much wear on one side. guess the manufacturer thought it would be easier to flip it over grabbing the handle on the side to flip then it would be at the ends.
And where on earth do you think you are going beside that mattress???
