I like to try to grow flowers from nut for example shasta daisys and anyway I get them to sprout and they grow till something like 1/2 an inch and then they shrivel up at the bottom of the stem and die. I will use a backpack and make a green house affect and it seem to be when I take the purse off it dies. I hang on to it well watered after I pocket the bag stale so it doesn't dry out.what is the problem.
Answers: It might be a fungus called damp off that sometimes strikes bright seedlings. Hereis a pattern site about the prevention and control:

This trellis site also has lots of other correct garden information.
Be sure not to over water as the daypack holds in most of the moisture your seedling need...a boil source to the bottom of your plants is a plus and a florescent light roughly 3" away from the plants should do the trick.
