Where can you put an nouns conditioner? I want to but a portable one with a hose but...

I want to but a portable one with a hose but does it call for to be sited on a window or can it basically sit on the floor. I have tried looking it up online but most make are american and are in window but Im in the UK.
Need a exotic paint color for my room!...
Answers:    The just reason I know the answer to this sound out is because I bought a portable air conditioner when I lived within Sweden ... before that if I have air conditioning it be always interior air conditioning.

The part itself doesn't need to be situated on the widow, but it does involve to be close to a window (or some other location near access to outside). This is because the exhaust "hose" needs to be capable of vacate the hot air and pollutants expelled by the cooling process outside. If you do not vent the exhaust outside it defeat the purpose of the air conditioner because a short time ago as much hot air would be coming into the nouns from the air conditioner as cool nouns. Plus, the type of refrigerant used by portable air conditioner is semi-toxic, and while it won't do any immediate vigour problems prolonged exposure can cause some serious medical problems.

Additionally you requirement to have the heavens conditioner close to a location like a windowpane because it also needs to vent hose. Granted most portable air conditioners hold a collection pan for the moisture the conditioning process creates, but contained by my experience they fill up rapid and they don't work very very well. The result ... a wet floor. The better alternative is to connect the water drainage hose and run it out the glass. That way adjectives the water go out of your apartment/house instead of inside.
