I have a small conservatory and i want to grow some tomatoes indoors, contained by a plant pot. There is plenty of warmth within conservatory. Would this work ok ? Thanks in finance for any help.
Yes. but you are bit late to start from kernel so you need to buy childlike plants

You need a pot of around 8 inches diameter and any normal compost and a rattan.

Don't forget to pick out the side shoot that form at the base of the leaves.

You will also necessitate liquid tomato nurture but don't apply it until the first tomatoes start to form.

You may find they are a bit smelly for a conservatory that you use a lot
You can grow tomatoes indoors any time of year. Tomatoes require plenty of desk light, heat and wet. So long as they get adjectives three, then you will hold no problem.

If you want to grow tomatoes in the misty months, you'll need to install ultra-violet lights surrounded by your conservatory. These lights need to be with care controlled so that they are switched off while you are of a mind (watering) your plants and then switched vertebrae on again once you have cleared the nouns.

How best to grow tomatoes?

Tomatoes do not like wet over their aerial parts (the leaves and/or stems). Tomatos approaching to grow in an inverted pot beside the bottom cut off, standing contained by a two inch deep tray chock-full with gravel.

Water contained by the gravel filled tray - this is where on earth the tomatoe plant's roots are.

Feed into the compost in the inverted (bottom cut off) pot - Tomerite is best for this - see instructions etc.

If you stop by Thompson and Morgan, you can buy a growing tomotoe plant(s) from them which you can grown indoors without sunlight.

Answers:    You've not here it a little behind time, but not too late. If you walk down to your nearest garden centre/nursery you can get some plants to grow (Too tardy for starting from seed). Beefsteak are a really good strain to grow. You'll grasp big juicy tomato's around july/august time. Make sure the soil never get dry BUT don't water them every hours of daylight.

Best time to start indoors is feb/apr from seed, and apr/may from plants.

You should start the core in rash spring, late feb. , untimely march. The MOST historic thing is the lighting . You inevitability either a grow fluffy or sunlight from early morning till overdue afternoon or they will grow leggy and fall over . Also brand sure the pots r DEEP enought so when they grow u can keep tallying good soil to the pot as they grow towering and bush out. Hope this helps some & cheery gardening
