When are mice most influential? I have a mouse in my house and I be just curious...

I have a mouse in my house and I be just curious when mice are most active. I hold set traps and am hoping the mouse will be dead by morning.
What would you do near the rotund pigeon,?

I agree near the second response...i don't really think it has to do next to day or night...it's roughly the quiet and no one around
they also put up for sale these electronic deterant devices...they really do work, down side you need on in every room...that passageway there is no dead or injured mice to contend next to (or live release )
Which is cheaper and better to do?
I am no expect, but I live in a field where on earth when they mess with anything outside the mice tend to come inside. It is best to catch them at dark. Mice are very afraid of humans so the don't come out during the day because near are afraid of you. Another trick I learned from expiercence is that peanut butter on old fashioned mouse traps works means of access better than cheese and better than glue traps.

they are most active at darkness, where ever you set the trap, make sure its darkened. and if you have one, you probable have a unbroken nest
