i want to build a wheelchair ramp at a friends house so that she can get in and out beside an electric wheelchair. can anyone tell me the correct mix for the concrete
Lowe's or Home Depot can direction you step by step on your project! Good Luck! correct mix for a ramp would be 4 parts ballast to 1 part cement

Don't know about the mix, but look into ADA requirements for ramp. They will speak to slope and protective features, among other things.. instead of worrying about how much sand and how much portland cement why not buy bags of set mix concrete where all you enjoy to do is add water - should be available at your local lowes or home depot
Answers:    they sell the stuff already mixed, in recent times add water

is it a big ramp or a short time ramp, wood may be more appropriate if it is a long run

I bet you thought you could do this easily, lol, here are ADA specifications to overwhelm you
