I filled (not overfilled) my Maytag washer beside clothing. After the water come out, the washer just completly stopped, and it never made it to the spin cycle. I fiddle with the knob and crawled behind it to see if everything be plugged in correctly and it be. The dryer is working fine, so it can't be the breaker. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I hope I don't need a foreign washer or motor!
Answers: I know exactly what's wrong - I have a Maytag too.
Your apparatus cannot extract water, so it will not spin. You requirement to open the filter and release it - there must be stuff down at hand from pockets. It could be coins, tissues, gunk, plastic toys, keys... but anything it is it's blocking your pipe.
Here's how you do it - you need a straight screwdriver, a plastic spoon and something to bend the knee on for a while. Turn the machine bad and turn the control to stop. Take out the bottom kick-board. Be careful, don't verbs too hard. When it is detached, place it hollow side up on the floor merely underneath the round filter hole you can now see on your disappeared. The kickboard is going to catch any hose down that spurts out when you open that filter hole.
It have a screw - undo it meekly but firmly. Out comes the water - don't read aloud I didn't warn you. Out comes the gunk. Reach within with the plastic spoon and measure out any blockage. Make sure you look right in from your extremely self-conscious position because you do not want to do this again for a long time. Scoop, clear, clean.
Replace the filter hole cover and screw it hindmost in. Empty the kickboard wisely. Replace it back onto the two funny sprockets. There!
Now, turn the control once round completely, and afterwards point it to the rinse symbol. It will hopefully rinse your clothes and spin them, completing the cycle.
Good luck.
When you say "after the marine came out" you be going to it filled near water, next stopped, I had like problem with mine. The lid be not quite closing and by this I indicate there is a latch on the side of the lid and a hole that it fits into when the lid closes. When you shut the lid try pressing down on where on earth these two come together until you hear a click. That worked for mine. I hope this makes sense.
