What shrubs can I grow contained by a pot indoors? I see pictures of them contained by home magazine but am unsure what they are

Answers:    The Lavendar Shrub is pretty and easy to grow inside. Here are some others as very well:

- Scrub Palmetto, Sabal etonia
- Weeping Fig Ficus benjamina: one of the hardiest of the indoor plants

Also, certain plants are excellent surrounded by ridding the air of pollutants and toxins. Plants that rate significantly as an indoor purifier include: Chinese evergreen, Areca palm, Reed palm, Dwarf date palm, Boston fern, Janet Craig dracaena, English ivy, Australian sword fern, Peace Lily and Rubber plant (in adition to the ones I listed above).
