What should i do near a carved pumpkin? i got a pumpkin for carving, but i purely didn't have time...

i got a pumpkin for carving, but i purely didn't have time to do it, but i still considered necessary the seeds, so i took them out tonight, and immediately i just hold an empty pumpkin. i don't want to purely watch it rot: any design about what to do beside it?
