I bought a 10 gallon tank and i own 7 small goldfish in in that right now but i dont plan on keeping the goldfish , i want to catch some tropical fish and get rid of the goldfish. My reservoir has a 50W wispy, and a filter and i have some blue gravel at the bottom. I am loooking for some comfortable to take protection of plants. Can someone recommend some for me. I would like to return with these plants in since i add the tropical fish. Another interview i have is, when i include the plants do i drain the water, make the addition of the substrate layer if i have need of one...then attach clean fresh sea again?...I also have be looking on ebay for live aquarium plants and i found some great deals. Can someone enlighten me if these plants are any good and assured to take prudence off? i am looking for plants which require no substrate layer if i can find some...i know there are some plants which basically grow in the sea and all you own to do is ancor them to a rock or drift wood/gravel

Answers:    I would not go next to live plants. They'll be a headache, your water will other be murky, and you'll probably kill them.

Stick near plastic plants. They make heaps that look very material.
