What characteristics of mattress topper should I buy? I can't afford a new mattress right immediately, but I need one...

I can't afford a new mattress right immediately, but I need one really bleak, so I was thinking of getting one of those mattress toppers. Should I procure an egg crate? or one of those memore foam pads? I own full bed, and really don't want to spend more than $60, but I do want something that is going to be really comfortable....because my bed is so tough and the springs poke me sometimes... thanks

Answers:    I'd read aloud any of those which fit into your budget. I found one for my son at Target that was slightly inexpensive.

When budget allows . . use the polyurethane as a base, afterwards add a 3" atmosphere talalay latex topper, and a wool fleece pad. For more pushback support, place a 1/4" wood panel over your present bedbase.
