Answers:    it sound approaching ur compressor went out , i have a friend that had similar problemsthen i go there to check it ,and it be the house outlet not working somehow it stopped, explanation we tried with a radioand the radio worked fine. and the compressor wasn't making a clatter .
it also if ur refrigerator is old , i'll suggest u find a new one to set free money ,electricity , times, headeach ,and refregerator are aound 200 dollars for a new one ..
to repair it , it would cost similar to 60 dollars for the guy to come in 95 dollars for the compressor and 150 for the labor. .

It probably lost its refrigerant and the pump is in a minute compressing air. Get a unknown energy abiding one. It might not be worth repairing.
