I'm looking to buy some seriously comfy bedding, I'm fed up of the polyester mixed crap I usually buy because its cheap, but the perfect stuff is so expensive I want to get it right. I'm tempt by Egyptian cotton. Any advice?
Answers: Yep - Egyptian cotton is great. You will consideration a real difference - thought of quality, snugness and most of adjectives smugness!
Go for it - and if you want the best matress too go for latex or memory foam!
Not sure how far you are going near this, but I can recommend silk. I have a silk duvet that I picked up contained by China last year. It is especially much thinner & lighter than the togged duvets I have see in this country. It is thaw in winter, and cool contained by the summer. I can't remeber exactly how much it was - a couple of hundred yuan I muse, which would be around lb20 - but worth it!
Also have silk pillowcases - lovely and cool. But the cat keep slipping off!
