You REALLY need to carry some local estimates, rather than enjoy folks from all over the country (or contained by some cases, the world) try to guess at where you live, and how much building and labor costs are running surrounded by your area.
There are frequent factors to consider... not lone the cost of materials, and labor, but also the impact of a remodel, or attachment upon your home and lifestyle. Do you like have a garage? or Do you have modest room to add on? Lots of things to consider... I'd start sour with an architect, or contractor.
