I'm buying an existing house that has a solar tube contained by the hall bathroom. The home inspector said it be similar to a skylight, but with lots more benefits. Can you tell me more give or take a few solar tubes? What's their purpose? What do I need to know from a thoroughness standpoint?

Their purpose is to achievement as a skylight. A normal skylight is roughly a window on your roof and is installed between the rafter and either have to be on a vaulted ceiling or a "hall?" needs to be built into the ceiling for the frothy to get into the room below. A solar tube is similar to a skylight in that it is installed between the rafter but the tube--which is highly reflective--makes it possible to capture the light into the room below in need having to enjoy that vaulted ceiling or the "hall." The only entry you really have to verbs about is whether the roof be sealed up in good health around where it be installed so the roof won't leak. Your inspector can verify that.
