We keep our home verbs and free of garbage heap, but we still have an ant problem. There are two cats within the household and I am afraid of making them sick by using pesticides.
Answers:    I have have the same problem within a house with both cats and dogs. I developed a simple solution that works great and is not unwholesome to pets. Mix a simple solution of one part rubbing alcohol beside three parts water and put it contained by a spray bottle. Set the sprayer on the finest mist setting. Spray on the surfaces where you see the ants and where on earth they commonly create anttrails. The substance will dry after a few minutes but leave a residue the ants do not similar to. They also do not like it when you spray it directly on them. Repeat as vital every few days. I've done this for years, and it always works close to a charm. The alcohol will not harm pets, who rebuke it anyway.
We used to have like problem. An insect repelent, like "OFF" works great. Since it is nontoxic for all nearest and dearest, it also safe for pets. The solitary problem ---you may have to reuse it ....
