My house is taupe siding on the top and reddish-orange brick on the bottom. The trim is taupe and the shutters/front door is dark green. The roof is dark brown, but that will be done surrounded by taupe shingles in a few years. The windows are white. Here is a photo:

The deck is currently stained solid green, but we are getting the top boards and railing replaced near treated wood due to rotting.

How do you select a deck color? Match the trim? Or match the brick??

Answers:    For me personally I similar to earth tone colors that blend and accent the home.

Since your re doing your deck I believe that a look at composites would be contained by order.Composites are a little bit more spendy but closing a lifetime and are next to maintenance free.
