Answers:    Make the following mixture and then "coat" the inside of the pumpkin.

1. Get a LARGE bin
2. Mix EQUAL amounts of Styrofoam & Gasoline
4. Stir the mixture until you grasp a thick gooey
5. Using an old paintbrush, brush the inside & outside of the pumpkin

This will clog up the porus holes and stop it from rotting. I've done this and I enjoy a pumpkin that 3years old. I use it every year for my hallo ween flounce.

try rubbing it with vinagar. Put a touch inside too. That works.
