Answers:    Consider getting an equine fly repellent spray. You can spray it on yourself, your pets, tables, walls. (Before you put the food out of course) I use stuff called "Bronco Equine Fly Spray". It will drastically moderate the fly problem. It also won't stain clothing or furniture. "Bronco" has a citronella scent just resembling bug repelling candles.
