Purchaced a old forclosed farmstead. The weeds be high adjectives around the house. Have done much cleaning up outside and inside. No sign of any more mice, worried about when weather warm up where we may see snakes, expecting a spanking new baby hasty June. Worried.
Don't worry in the region of the snakes..more than likely they are in recent times garder snakes..They will keep insects & rodents out of your woodpile & outbuildings. They will stay out of your process.
First you"ll need to fashion sure there are no snakes or nests contained by the attic or walls
Then look for possible places where the may be entering the house ( approachable holes in the eves or where on earth the house has seperated from the roof perchance )
Then you will need to stamp those holes so no more snakes can get within
Answers: We found a shedded snake skin in our attic when my husband go to get the Christmas decorations.
We haven't see it, nor heard anything up in attendance since we found the skin.
The only suggestion that I own is to screen your vent, by the roof, vents surrounded by crawl space.
I guess you can get a cat and agree to it go up within every once in awhile to see if it catch it. I really don't know!
