What is the recommended distance to locate a wall oven from a refrigerator? My Mom wants to replace her gamut with a cooktop and single element wall oven. She doesn't want to lose the large counter on the one side of the U, so we're looking at the oven to be implicit the refrigerator. No decision all the same on gas vs. electric (electric would cost less within installation, but gas is her preference). If you have other tips, please post!
Answers: Wall Ovens built into a cabinet can stir right next to a Refridgerator. Both unit are insulated so they won't affect the other. you should give yourself at smallest 15" of counter beside the cooktop for workspace. Make sure the oven will fit the cabinet before you establish it. And make sure you walk off some space at the top of the Refridg. for ventilation. I would suggest a gas cooktop and an electric oven but the strange electric cooktops are also good. Good luck.
Have you talk to your cabinet designer yet? They label cabinets to incorporate a wall oven. If you are conversation energy usage next to the stove and fridg next to respectively other then you probably won't catch sight of any extra on the electric bill. The cabinet to hold the oven will seperate it from the fridg enough to stop the verbs of heat. There isn't any codes wise saying they can't be right next to respectively other, so it is up to you and the way it is designed to work best as far as the kitchen layout.
