go to craigslist.com they have a inventory of locations in both the u.s. and canada, where culture can list their used furniture/appliances and everything else for sale, thats how i've found some of the things i've bought...
also check your classifieds, perchance in newspapers, or look at the rag websites.. or google toronto classifieds and see what you come up with...
if none of that suits you and you want an actual store, there is other the ol' phone book, or you can look at an online phone book and search for used furniture or used appliances
