I have a small Blue Spruce, in the order of 1-1.5 inches tall, surrounded by about a 5 inch pot covered surrounded by a plastic bag. Can the blue spruce survive if I move off the bag on the pot? What can I do to increase the trees fate of living? Am I doing ok? help me beside my Blue Spruce Seedling please.
Answers: Your plant needs to breathe.
Take past its sell-by date the bag.
It's a good-sized pot for a tree seedling. You won't own to re-pot for a while
To increase survival chances put it within a sheltered spot, but not in reflective shade.
Make sure the pot can drain.
It's a small plant so water totally lightly. Conifers are more tolerant of a drier soil, but don't agree to the pot dry completely.
u have a purse on only while a plant is rooting - a daypack around it keeps moisture inside, so plant get water through leaves and brunches while it doesn't hold roots strong enough to supply it next to water. as soon as a palnt roots u should remove backpack. and even while before plant roots u should depart a bag for a while every daytime to let nouns in, otherwise your plant will start molding and decaying. i could own written u about other stuff but i am sorry it would variety me bored.
ps. also i disagree with the first one - a pot is too big. at hand is fungus in adjectives soil, a strong healthy plants re immune to it, but small, thin ones are prone to it. that's why u should always chose a pot according to size.
