When a tree fall onto a house does it break the house?

My neighbor have a tree that grew huge (way taller than my house) and it's beginning to branch over to our side. I'm wondeirng if it's straightforward that the tree will fall onto our house? Since it's their property I can't touch it but do you guess the tree will fall onto our house? The branch is approach too slanty. We dont have too much bend here since we are in California. What are your thoughts?
Answers:    I'm thinking it'll be fine. A tree wont simply fall over, it have roots that clamps it to the ground. So the bigger the tree, the more roots it has import you shouldn't worry something like it so much. But it the branches are bothering you, you can ask your neighbors to cut it off.
Check near your home insurance agent. Where I live, it is courtesy to confront your neighbor and see if he/she will trim the branch on your property side at their expense or even share costs then it is OK to cut rotten the portion that is on your side. Be sure, I do penny-pinching be sure that this is allowable in your nouns before you cut that portion yourself.
