Tiny holes surrounded by tomato leaves? I planted some (12) healthy tomato plants ~ 2 weeks ago...
I planted some (12) healthy tomato plants ~ 2 weeks ago and own noticed that adjectives the plants now enjoy tiny holes in adjectives the leaves. I have some within a different location that are fine. There is only one difference between the two nouns plants. With the affected plants I forgot to sprinkle some lime surrounded by my planting hole ahead of time so I put some around each plant higher than the soil afterwards. I didn't think it be too much (1/2 cup each plant). Any thoughts?
Answers: The small tiny holes are irregular and brown on the edges..I a short time ago treated my whole garden for this..it is snails coming out from the winter..they are purely now emerging, the exotic hatched ones and feed on your leaves..as they get bigger they will chomp through whole leaves at a time..be in motion buy a product called slugge or es'car-go at most garden centers...
if lime doesnt work try seven dust it will attain rid of any pest that are eating your leaves
