I've got these little bugs contained by my bathroom. They're dark brown, give or take a few 1/4 inch long, they have two tiny antennae coming from their head, and their bodies taper off to a point at their fund ends (kind of like tadpoles). And I don't know if this will support anybody identify them, but they know when you're trying to catch them, and they move really in a hurry to avoid capture. Can somebody please convey me what these bugs might be, and how I might get rid of them?
Answers:    Sounds sort of similar to an early instar cockroach. They hold only two speeds... scuttle at full speed, and stop.

Try departing a wastebasket or similar with a rolled lip on the floor
at hours of darkness. Next morning, pick it up and drop it in a significant bucket and watch what falls out from lower than the rim.
