Would someone please tell me how to purloin spider plant cuttings as i wish to grow a few more of these wonderful plants for my daughters house.
Answers: They romp away. You can any take the plant out of its pot and slice right through the lumpy bit and pot it again as two or three plants - preserve moist.
Or, when the baby plants start leap out on the end of their "umbilical cords" turn them round and tuck them contained by beside Mum or into a separate pot beside her, keep moist, until they root. Then cut through the runner
You cut stale one of the plantlets that are hanging from the key plant . Then you pin it to the soil in the pot that's going to be its home. Then hose down it and put a plastic bag around it to save the humidity in. Air it out everyday to prevent fungus and mold. Once you see clean growth you can take the sack off.
