There is something burning, or has a burning smell. I've narrowed it down to somewhere within the kitchen. I'm making myself dizzy by sniffing everywhere. There is something burning. I think it may be within the walls, an electrical something? I'm about to step to the basement and lately turn all the power rotten. It's not me, I don't leave anything on. But within is something burning somewhere. When is it time to call the FD?

It's time to ring the FD. If you are positive it's coming from your house, then I would appointment just to be not dangerous. Better to call immediately then after the house is contained by flames.
