Well today my dog was bark at a snake i though it was a copper go before and killed it. i following found out it was a ribbon snake and i perceive really bad for butchery it. now i reckon there is a nest below my deck and i don't want to get another snake kill by me or my dog.

i think nearby are about 16 beneath my deck since all the frogs and birds suddenly started missing along next to the black rat snakes i see every once in a while.
I judge i killed the mother also since it be about 2 foot long
Answers:    Snakes will seldom, if ever cross over moth balls. They don't close to the smell. I doubt if they would ever swallow one, so you wont' have to verbs about slaughter a snake. However, I don't share your sympathy for snakes at all. When they come on our property, they are invading our privacy. Good luck beside the moth balls. However, if you put moth ball around your deck that will probably keep them underneath there and I am supposing you want them out. PS Toss the moth ball all below your deck and the snakes will eventually have to come out. If you enjoy children, please keep them away from the snakes. And yes, snakes will live around the homes of humans. They enjoy even come upon our porch. They eat the little mockingbird eggs or the little birds out of our shrubby.
Snakes do not live / travel within groups and I question if they would nest close humans and where in that is limited foliage so they can obscure easier The snakes mate may be around but will probably leave to find another.
