My son says it's better and cheaper to confer on the thermostat ALONE. I say it save money to turn the air down a few degree when we aren't home. (Not all the process off) What say yee? Does the woman have the right of it or the master?

(don't know why I'm lapsing into antediluvian English- maybe it's roast stoke?) LOL
Answers:    Your son is wrong.

And if you don't have a programmable thermostat, I suggest getting one. They're not expensive and they'll adjust the temp for you if you forget.
If you don't enjoy a programmable thermostat for your furnace / AC, then turning the AC up (not down) when you are going to be away for a while is unbelievably wise. If you don't mind the inconvenience, if you will be away, unplug your printer, clocks, DVD player, computer eyeshade, toothbrush charger, and virtually anything else that has a short time light on (except safekeeping items of course).
