Moved into my first rented home with my boyfriend subsidise in parade and the house is infested with spiders. we cant cope anymore- is near anyway we can cancel our rent contract? We're on a 6month contract.
Buy some spray at the store. Also you can write your innkeeper and request the landlord hire an exterminator. There are such a entity as hedgeballs that you can cut in partially and put in the lowest plane of your house that keeps spiders and rodents away. It is a fruit of an osage ginger tree. They grow in the drop and you can get them at a floral shoppe, grocery store or farmers bazaar. Good luck.

Yes and no. You need to bring up to date the landlord. If he refuse to do anything about it, consequently you have the right to end the contract under "power of living."

However, just attain a spider bomb and leave for the weekend. No big settlement. Deduct the cost of the bombs from your rent. Geez. I live in the country and you would never survive here. We've get rats, mice, bugs of every kind, smash snakes, mountain lions, etc. I've got my unbroken property sprayed with coyote urine to save away the rodents. I've got cats to pocket care of bugs contained by the house. I have wipe down every surface, crack and crevice with dish soap to repel ants and spiders (the chemicals surrounded by the dish soap hurts small bugs, but is fine for humans, even babies, and pets). I've got automatic flood feathery at various points on the property which usually will startle away any mountain lions that might happen by...

LOL! I'd love to know what your definition of "infested" is.

P.S. Ooooooh! I freshly looked at the picture Livvy posted! Ew! Okay, if the spiders are that big, then I steal back everything I newly said. Also, I forgot to mention that I put spider bombs in my attic every six months. The attic is probably where on earth the spiders are coming from, so you might want to put a bomb or two up there.
Answers:    Spiders put away other insects so the house should be clear of other things...you could try spraying with a pesticide if they are really bothering you...it doesn't give the impression of being a valid reason to reverse a rent contract !
