I am in search of an online site where on earth I can purchase bulk flowers for weddings and other events. Can anyone share their experience buying from an online store?
Answers:    It depends. Are you looking for the more general 'supermarket' variety, or are you surrounded by search of something more unique? Would you be rewarded with 'supermarket' quality or do you want flowers fitting for a wedding? And how important is customer service throughout the order and delivery process?

I used to work in a florist shop and well-educated that not all wholesalers are alike. We would order from local wholesalers and online stores and saw differences contained by the offerings, quality, and service. Aside from some good local ones, we have great experience with wholeblossoms.com and supremeflower.com (I think they of late got bought out). They're able to locate and market product not shown on their website (wholeblossoms sells local wholesale, too, so they sell much more than shown online) and ship directly from their farm (think fresh). And they walk you through and after the sale (they love repeat customers).

There are more popular online stores but from what I saw, their prices tend to be a bit higher and didn't see much service after the order be place. Note that in the flower business, it is common to call for back your wholesaler when your flowers arrive short a bunch or when your flowers are delayed due to canceled flights (esp when the wedding is tomorrow). So have that after sale service is important. Also, most online stores don't do local wholesale so they from time to time see product like the local wholesalers. That separation from product sometimes gives the trader a different perspective when trying to explain the subtle differences between product (trust me, red is not always 'red' in the flower business).

Oh, yeah, one other considerable point. Select an online wholesaler that uses express shipping so your flowers don't come in as cargo (the ones above use express). Many times, shipment is bumped but express is guaranteed. Some of the online sites send your bulk flowers via cargo to release money, but most consumers would rather get their flowers when they're expected and not put up next to delays.

So a lot said but I guess that happen when you used to work with flowers. And I think buying from an online wholesaler make sense. The right ones are even cheaper than Sam's and Costco and offer much better quality.
My Sam's club have great prices on their roses, and will take orders. You can also ask roughly other flowers. You will have to go pick them up, but ask that your charge be kept separate in the back cooler. I enjoy a B&B and when a man calls to book I ask if this is a special occasion. If so I can confer him 2 doz. roses, which always look spectacular, and do the arrangements myself. I'm not buying in bulk tho'. All are dated so you can put together sure they are the freshest.
