I am trying the "sonic" thing, little pack of rat bait in a purse, beating them beside a stick, etc. To be fair, I've with the sole purpose given it a few days, but they are still there. Never have this problem in 7 years of living here. What else can I do? Or should I simply wait and believe that what I'm doing will work? The dogs, that live contained by the garage, are pretty oblivious, although they'll go after a squirrel surrounded by 2 seconds flat. They hold tunneled below the garage (and I assume are living there) as well as living IN the garage, getting up into sports car motors etc. HELP!
Answers: The "Sonic" thing you are using is a TOTAL dissipate of time, money and effort, they do not work ....Rats will in actual fact eat Dog droppings......
You call for to get some De-Con Bait trays and fur them in the garage where on earth your pets can't get to them.That is the ONLY item that will work. It makes Rats extremely thirsty and they will bleed internally and die in 10-12 hours. The good report is that when poisoned this way rats will give your garage and seek dampen sources away from your garage. Put a few trays of Decon bait as far down the outside rat holes as you can get them, far ample the your Dogs can't get to the bait.....Seriously.This is the solely thing that works.......
you usually grasp rodents when there is a food source. Eliminate the food source and you will gain rid of the rats. You mentioned dogs, you might check how you're storing their food and if the rats are getting to it.
