I got home around 20 minutes ago to discover an apartment full of gas. I checked the burners and realized that my roommate departed one of the burners slightly on. The house has be filling near gas for at least the recent past six hours (at least!). I open all of the window and doors, and I'm sitting outside right now waiting for the gas to dissipate. I merely checked, and it still smells! I live in a small apartment -- how long do you reflect it will take until it's undamaging to go inside? Also -- I'm not drastically experienced with gas stoves -- shouldn't in that be a safety portion of some sort to prevent this sort of thing? Thanks within advance!
