How come some flies have irridescence surrounded by their bodies, like bluish, green, pink, etc?? I expect regular otherwise black houseflies?
Answers: The irridescence ones are flesh flies and are attracted by the smell of ofal, rotting meat, and feces. While they may be pretty to look at compared to ordinary house flies, they are looking for a place to lay eggs contained by the sort of things I mentioned before. Ever wonder where on earth those lovely squirming maggots on dead things come from?
