i have wood look double glazed pvc windows(munster joinery) at the front of my house and alluminium at the flipside, the front of the house is a lot colder and draghtier than the backside, is this normal? its worth note that the rear get the prevailing wind

I enjoy a window that have the same problem and consequently, I have to buy that clear plastic and put it on every winter. It really help to cut the draught. Why don't they come back next to storm windows again it would be so much easier and immediately with the weather we are getting I imagine they are a necessity?
