PLEASE HELP! How to snuff gypsy moths that are ruining my trees!? They are destroying 3 of my trees and 6 in my neighbor's...

They are destroying 3 of my trees and 6 in my neighbor's yard! Both Blue Spruce and Maples. They appear to be killing the Pines VERY fast! My neighbor contacted our department of agriculture and they said there's not much we can do immediately at this time in the season, except put out moth traps/bags. So, I have ordered one of them, however I also purchased a spray at my hardware that say it for gypsy moths. I haven't tried it yet though. Is there anything else I can do? These things are everywhere! The pupa are even contained by our mailbox! Yuck!
