We got a big concrete birdbath from some friends that are moving, they have have it at their house for like the ending 45 years. I can tell that it be originally painted white by some spots of old paint on the underside of the bowl and everything that be since exposed to the elements has be heavily stained.
I pressure washed it and get it as clean as possible.
When it comes to paint, I be thinking white once again in concrete paint or Spar enamel, but most I own found are gloss finish, wonĄŻt that look abnormal? Or will flat paint look weirder?
Answers:    This is what you need to do. Clean the entire birdbath near a acid solution(necessary evil beside concrete), then rinse, rinse, and rinse again. Let dry for 1 week. Apply 2 coats drylok masonry waterproofer. This will second for a long, long time. www.ugl.com/drylok...
