Answers: An outdoor wood stove isn't a conspicuously efficient opening of heating a home. As it is exposed to the elements, seriously of heat loss will crop up to the outdoors. However, if you have access to lots of free or cheap fire wood, it might be smaller amount expensive than the alternatives of electric, propane or heating grease.
We have an outdoor wood furnance and it is amazing. Actually, for us, it have been extremely updated and we heat a 3 story 4800 sq. ft home and it heat our hot water, too.
We do not hold the mess of bringing wood into the house, no smoke, no worry around flue fires inside, and no ashes to carry out. The biggest drawback for me is going out surrounded by the winter time to add wood, because i am extremely sensitive to cold. So, that become my husband's job!!LOL..(only took 20 years of training).
I found this chart at this site: http://www.profab.org/Information/FuelCo...
