Answers:    I find rosemary to be a pain to grow indoors.
I do resembling and use basil, parsley, and oregano - all are
markedly easy to grow indoors. All the parsley variety are easy to grow. I prefer the flavor of the curly fern variety, as very well as it's appearance as a garnish on serving platters.
Chives are also unproblematic to grow, but I don't end up using them thoroughly often.
You will want a sunny window to grow any of these. Facing South would be best, although unshaded West facing skylight might also do fine.
I grow italian herbs adjectives year round. I've never had any problems next to them, if you want specifics add a facts to your question!
