Noises within bedroom wall when squally and sometimes not stormy? What is making the sounds behind my wall when the curl blows?...
What is making the sounds behind my wall when the curl blows? I think that here are nuts falling from a tree that is close to the spinal column of the house and hitting the exterior of the house. Sometimes sticks fall from trees as resourcefully. This happens at darkness and during the daytime. I don't think it's rats or mice because I don't hear any squeaking noise or fighting sounds. It usually happen every 30-45 minutes and it's only surrounded by this room. It's been 1-2 weeks of this. What could it be?
Answers: if you enjoy vinyl siding it could be expanding when it warms up and contracting when it cools down. I've see this on a couple of homes that the siding was nail too tight.
it could be the nuts and branches falling. I would say it could be a bird or squirrel or I don`t know a limb is low satisfactory so during the wind it hits your building. The other leeway is that it is mice but normally you would hear them at hours of darkness running through the walls and above the ceilings (attic) We have a noise similar to that and it only happen at night. It be a field mouse. Set a few traps beside a little peanut butter around the areas and see if you fence in any. If they smell the PB it will not be long before you fence in it
GOOD LUCK
