i live in a council house. near a long garden at the back.my neighbour who bought his house from the council 6 yrs ago have had deck layed the full length of his garden which does not affect me. he is now building a pole complete with optics ect, for his own personal use next to friends. i would like to know if it become noisy can i complain to the council or is it nought to do with them because he owns the property,,we enjoy a 5ft fence dividing us

Answers:    Even if he owns the property, you are entitled to generate an official complaint if a neighbour make an unreasonable amount of noise on a regular starting place. However, it's best to try to sort it out between you first before involving local authorities.

you are entitled to peace on your own home so do hold a right to complain, however it may take several other ancestors to complain for any action to be taken.
alos if it become very regularly noisey and excruciating video it to use as proof and back up your complaint.
