My Winchester Grey Trex deck has faded, crookedly, even though the entire deck has alike exposure to sun and the elements. Replacing the deck is not an option, so I am considering sculpture or staining it. The trex.com site says that paints/stains purloin well and give recommendations for brands to use. Have any of you in truth tried this? What were the results? Thank you!
Answers: I don't hold a deck, but I worked at a place that built many of them for customers. It's personal choice. BUT, remember, if you paint. you own the big problem to repaint. You will have to any sand, or strip off adjectives the old to re-do. If you use stain, a moment ago clean all right and restain.
I have like peas in a pod trex grey deck you have. I basically power washed it and it brightend it up and come out fine. I bought the power washer at home depot for $100.
