We bought this chest type freezer in March or April. It have made this noise since afternoon one. Once the compresor turns off , you can hear the freezer making bubbling noise. I have have the warranty repair company check it out. This guy tried to tell me that todays unit don't have as much insulation as they used to hold so they are louder. I do plumbing and mechanical work so I know a bit about A/C systems and if we installed one that made this much rumbling, we could not label it middle-of-the-road. I have to recognize that I have no experience near refridgerators and freezers, but a cooling system of any kind should not be popping and bubbling, right? Am I getting jerk around?
Answers: Not a problem. The noise is probably the refrigerant and grease draining back to the compressor.
No problem basically annoying its only the refrigent, have one worked for years just noisey.
