My house purely suddenly started smelling approaching a candle be blown out. Haven't burned one. What can result in this?

Answers:    Some causes could be...

1) Sometimes some appliances especially when unsullied and first turned on or even older ones moved out on for long periods of time may offer off such an odor on moment because of the heat generate inside, causing electrical system and certain plastic materials involved within circuitry to soften and become more porous which is why things resembling computers, refridgerators, ac's, etc. have fan inside to help hold on to it from over heating.

A computer may be constantly on and running but the supporter is not, so when the fan starts up again it forces the hot nouns to escape thru the ventilation holes of the part and on occasion that plastic, waxy candle-like scent is stronger and more noticible.

2) I get a bulletin recently that some of those nouns fresheners that plug into electrical sockets aren't very risk-free because some people reported have had electrical fires contained by their homes caused by something surrounded by it or part of it over heat and melting, so if you enjoy em you might want to check em out or just toss em out to play it sheltered.

Holy makarena, I could think of comparatively a few different reasons approaching maybe you hold some form of Synesthaesia or your house is possessed by a whitty candlestick maker who newly likes blowing smoke.
Chances are you own a bad rope somewhere and the smell could be coming from the heated insulation. Try to locate where it is coming from, (where it is the strongest) and christen an electrician. If you are using those cheap extension cords, check them to see if one is hot or overloaded.
