I am looking after my uncles bonzai tree while he is on holiday. Ive had it 2days and already the leaves enjoy shrivelled up, and have turned brown. I enjoy tried watering it, and spraying the leaves but nothings working. Is it dead?
Answers: If your uncle didn't check out of specific instructions then the problem is his.....unless you didn't follow them.
OK, what species? Even deciduous bonzais progress dormant.
Was it moved? Cold air, hot nouns will cause the leaves to die.
Are you over or below watering? See top line. Once the leaves are brown, they are deceased. All you can do is keep the soil slightly moist, maintain the plant away from hot or cold drafts.....and pray it's a deciduous type that just go into dormancy. The plant would be dead if the limb are also brittle, hence suggesting keeping the soil moist and the plant in proper sun.
He take care of it for years and it thrives, in a minute you've killed it surrounded by two days. tut tut. Never baby sit.
