I am not frightened by many bugs but millipedes and silverfish will hold me screaming bloody murder.

And tonight, a crawly type bug fell off the wall, onto my pillow and down my shoulder.

ICK! I turned around and caught a breakneck glimpse of it as it dashed under my pillow -- it be too long to be a silverfish - so I'm guessing millipede.

My roomie heard the yell and came to help out - I ripped apart my bed, dumped everything in the bathe, shook everything out, lifted mattresses, box springs, etc... pretty much we disassembled the bed. And in that was no bug.

Sneaky little sucker.

I requirement a non-toxic remedy to keep these critters away from my bed. Is within something I can use to launder my sheets where they can`t stand the smell? Etc?

We have a dog that sleeps on my bed and get into EVERYTHING - and we rent the rooms that we're in so exterminators are not an odds and harsh chemicals are out, too, b/c of the dog.

Any home remedies or suggestions??

Answers:    I would recommend Ficam-W. We enjoy found it, normally, contained by nurseries. It is a powder (each envelope makes one gallon) mix it next to water and spray EVERYWHERE.
It will not hurt pets or kids. We would spray curtains/furniture/bed/you heading it. We had three really small toy poodles and they would amble on carpet after we sprayed-no problems. AND no smell.
