Microwave container flakes? Does anyone know why microwave containers start to "flake" after they have...

Does anyone know why microwave containers start to "flake" after they have be used for a long period of time. What I close-fisted by "flake" is those white specks that form on the inside of microwave containers after repeated use. Is it safe? I've tried looking on the internet and havent found anything.
Are the ad for lofty usefulness electric plug...
Answers:    I would throw the container away and buy some investigational ones at the Dollar Store, or Dollar Tree.....I wouldn't take any likelihood with that, if your have 2nd thoughts in using it beside food....I would ditch the bowl, or container that your speaking about!!
I own had some of mine do that too....I use them to plant flowers within or to start seeds!! (drill some holes surrounded by the bottom....and you have a nut starter container, or a flower pot!!)
